“Concerning matter, we have been all wrong. What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter.” --Albert Einstein
Our thoughts, our feelings, our bodies, the world around us, all of it is vibrating. And all vibration interacts. My shaking shakes your shaking. This can feel scary and troubling. It's easy to meet this news with resistance, with efforts to barricade ourselves inside some kind of muting urn. It's possible to meet it with hope. If your shaking shakes me - maybe you could shake me free. There are stuck spots in me, lost spots, that have gone quiet - maybe you could shake them back to singing. We shake each other and are shaken - not just humans; everything. Trees and airplanes, weather, sunshine, darkness. There is no matter - only this big, communal dancing. Let's dance in it, together - hopefully and willingly. Since we can't say no, let's hold hands and shake the big, connected everything with our full-throated yes.
