Alex is a death doula with a background in social work, community organizing, somatics and breath work. She created Healing the Land, an emergent practice, out of the desire to help heal and build community through nature. She designed and leads the Community Death Support course at The Grief house where she offers 1:1 somatic support for grievers.

Elena has been working with individuals and families for over 12 years, using somatic psychotherapy and EMDR. She offers IADC to assist grievers who are struggling with their loss to have a sense of connection with their deceased loved ones.​

Elena speaks Spanish and is happy to work in Spanish or English.

Serena weaves earth, spirit, and remembrance through home funerals, natural organic reduction and natural burial. She tends sacred farewells and a gentle return to the earth for humans and animal companions.

Laura offer support for play and make-believe, which are sometimes useful friends for death. Laura is happy to sit and think over possibilities, set up play dates and support you in dreaming up new ways to be with death.

Jamie offers practical and emotional support for dying people and their families. She provides end of life planning, legacy, ritual & ceremony guidance, and vigil planning. She also assists terminally ill Oregonians in all stages of the process of accessing Medical-Aid-In-Dying/Death with Dignity.
