Personal Use

All material contained on this Site, unless otherwise indicated, is owned by The Portland Grief House and may be viewed, downloaded or otherwise copied or reproduced for personal use only. No other use, commercial or otherwise, is allowed without the express written permission of The Portland Grief House.

User Accounts and User Content

The Site allows Members to publish their own blog posts and to upload Content to be made available on the Site (“User Content”). All User Content must comply with The Portland Grief House Community Guidelines and Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy, both of which are available on the Site and may be updated from time to time.

To contribute and access User Content, a User is required to register as a Member and create an account (“User Account”). The approval of your User Account is at the sole discretion of The Portland Grief House.

The use of a User Accounts is subject to the terms of The Portland Grief House’s Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and Account and you agree to notify us if any password is lost, stolen, or disclosed to an unauthorized third-party, or otherwise may have been compromised. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your Account, including any activities carried out by your agents, representatives, employees and anyone you permit to access your Account.

In order for us to make the User Content you contribute available on the Site and to operate, market and promote the services of The Portland Grief House, we need the right to make use of such User Content in accordance with and subject to these Terms. The Grief House is not a replacement for skilled mental health care. We cannot provide acute crisis intervention.
