In our April 13th session we’ll explore The Grief House’s fifth philosophy: We work to integrate grief through our body, mind, and spirit. We will dance (like nobody is watching, ‘cause you’ll turn off your camera), and then spend the remainder of our time freewriting to a series of prompts that build on each other.
In this workshop series we explore The Grief House’s five philosophies through engaging our own story and the memories we carry from each of those stories. The series runs five weeks, and drop ins will be welcome each week as well. We will use creative and personal writing, as well as mindfulness exercises, to build our capacities to metabolize grief. Despite how it is often depicted and discussed, writing is a social activity, with a solitary component– and that is the balance we strive to strike in this workshop series.
