When & Where
Apr 13, 2025, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Portland, 7906 N Fessenden St, Portland, OR 97203, USA
What
We will take time to witness and tend to the wounded spaces within our bodies and the wounds of more-than-human beings, to honor community and interconnection.
Avoidance of grief and seeking “quick fixes” for discomfort is prioritized in dominate U.S. culture. This offering will provide space to slow down and tune into the presence of wounds.
Details for the day:
We will gently hold awareness of our wounds and the areas within our bodies that sustain us. This portion will include some guided grounding/meditation and an invitation to share.
We will go outdoors (bring raincoats!) to the grief house and invite our community of more-than-human beings into our practice. We'll look for plants that feel particularly resonant to us - that seem to want to work with us. We'll practice trusting our intuition and believing that non-human beings are also conscious and participating in the community we are woven into.…
