St John's Community Open House

Join us at the Portland Grief House on Palentine’s Day (Valentine’s Day) for an open-house-style gathering to be present with lost love of all kinds, and to meet your fellow grieving neighbors over home-made brunch and community connection. This open house is the second in a series focused on how we take care of each other in times of grief, crisis, and heightening political and economic instability.

Valentine’s Day can sometimes hold extra longing, love, absence, tenderness, and grief, and we want make space to be with the tenderness of the day, and to play with Palentine’s by sharing what we have in abundance, naming what we’re needing, and practicing both offering and receiving care, in honor of our interdependence.
