Who

What

Grief touches every part of our being—physical, emotional, and spiritual. This 90-minute workshop offers a unique opportunity to gently support your healing journey through the combined practices of restorative yoga and acupuncture.

Led by Ellen MacKay, an experienced trauma-informed yoga teacher, and Dr. Sonny Thammasouk, DACM, LAc, a skilled acupuncturist, this session is designed to help you release tension, restore balance, and reconnect with your inner calm. Restorative yoga invites the body into deep relaxation, while acupuncture encourages the body’s natural ability to heal and harmonize. Together, these practices create a nurturing pathway to process and honor your grief.

Held at the serene Portland Grief House, this workshop provides an intimate space, with a maximum of 5 participants, to ensure personal attention and connection. Whether you are navigating recent loss or carrying grief from the past, this workshop offers tools and practices to support your journey.
