What
Qigong (Chee Gung) is the practice of developing or “exercising” one’s internal, vital energy or life force. Suitable for all ages and physical conditions, this ancient healing art is facilitated by simple movements, relaxation, and breath. This allows one’s Qi – or energy – to flow smoothly and more powerfully, eliminating stagnation and blockages caused by disease or emotional trauma.
Through the powerful, ancient practice of Qigong, we develop our internal strength. Working with the physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of ourselves, we create balance and healing. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a history that spans thousands of years, grief is primarily held in the Lungs. Known as ‘acupuncture without needles,’ we utilize the repetition of simple, gentle movements or forms while we learn to recognize unconsciously held tension in the body.
