When & Where
May 31, 2026, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
The Atlanta Grief House, 500 S Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30030, USA
Who
What
The Grief House is pleased to announce our inaugural Decatur Death Cafe on Sunday, May 31, from 1pm to 3pm.
Join facilitators Kelly Sklare, CNM,FNP and Carrie Tatro, seminary drop-out and freelance writer (both newly minted INELDA-trained end-of-life doulas) for an open, lively, non-clinical discussion about all aspects of death and dying.
The Grief House is a welcoming space dedicated to our community's needs around end-of-life experiences. With that in mind, the objective of our Death Cafe is to increase awareness around death, with an eye toward helping people make the most of their finite lives.
What to Expect
Expect to sip tea, eat cake and talk about death. It's that simple. This will not be a lecture. There is no set agenda. There is no pre-determined theme. Rather than a grief support or counseling session, our Death Cafe will be a group-driven and group-directed discussion in a confidential space…
