What
Candela: Remembrance Candle Making is a guided ceremonial candle-making experience created to honor loved ones, memories, and meaningful connections through intentional reflection and light.
Participants are invited to submit a personal photo or image in advance, which is incorporated into a custom altar or prayer candle label. During the experience, guests move through a gentle candle-pouring process accompanied by reflective prompts centered on memory, connection, gratitude, release, support, and continued remembrance.
Using natural soy wax, dried botanicals and intentional ceremonial pacing, participants create personalized candles that serve as meaningful keepsakes and symbols of ongoing connection. The experience is designed to be emotionally spacious, grounding, and supportive for individuals moving through grief, remembrance, or life transition.
Who is welcome?
Adults and mature teens who are navigating grief, remembrance, transition, or who wish to honor someone meaningful in their lives are welcome. The experience is open to all backgrounds and belief systems.
