Bring a friend for free in May! In this workshop, you’ll have the chance to process grief through art or craft followed by an optional 30-minute “Community in Grief” gathering, a safe and respectful space to find quiet companionship for your grief.

What
In grief we often need to cocoon and hide away from the world. Learning to see the outside world can be harsh. In this workshop we'll use sensory grounding in an exploration of seeing one another. In twos, we'll work on drawing, writing or collaging portraits of each other. We'll start with a brief pencil sketch or written description, and then develop our ideas using collage, drawing, writing, crafting. We'll meet up again in pairs to exchange work for a gentle response to one another's artistic expressions.
