My Story

After my own breast cancer diagnosis in 2022, I co-founded Future Perfect alongside my dear friend and fellow survivor Dara McCord, building a home for cancer survivors to receive integrative support at every stage of their journey. What began as two friends turning pain into purpose has grown into something neither of us could have fully imagined.

Long before Future Perfect Integrative Wellness existed, I was already living this calling. When my aunt was diagnosed with stage four cervical cancer in 2023, I stepped in as her cancer doula — walking alongside her and her inner circle with love, steadiness, and presence until her passing in 2024. And then, in one of life's most tender and difficult chapters, I did it again — this time for Dara herself, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2025 and passed in February 2026.

The Grief House assisted in supporting Dara's ceremony with such beauty and care that it deepened an already growing partnership — one that has since given rise to the Atlanta Death Care Collective and memorial packages created at Legacy Park in Dara's honor.

I bring over two decades of operations experience to this work, and hold certifications as both a health and wellness coach and cancer doula. As a Death Care Steward, I will call on my long experience meeting pain and sorrow with steady presence and every person exactly where they are. I will meet you and your family with empathy, compassion, and zero judgment and match you with the support you need most.

This is not a new direction for me. It is simply the next expression of who I have always been. 💛
