My Story
For twenty years, I have walked alongside individuals and families as a Certified Nurse Midwife, holding space at the sacred threshold of new life.
Recently, my journey brought me face to face with the end of life when I experienced the loss of both of my parents within seven months. During this profound season, I found solace, community, and deep healing through The Grief House. This loving support illuminated a truth I had not fully seen before: the threshold at the end of life can be just as meaningful, sacred, and even beautiful as the beginning when held with great care.
Recognizing this dual calling to be present at both entrance and exit, I have expanded my focus into end of life care and grief companionship. I completed my End of Life Doula training through INELDA and am a Certified Grief Educator.
I serve as a hospice volunteer and facilitate a monthly Parent Loss Support Circle and am co-founder of the Decatur Death Cafe, both hosted at The Atlanta Grief House.
My work is informed by a steady mindfulness and meditation practice and rooted in presence, deep listening, and gentle witness.
As a Death Care Steward, I am honored to help you and your loved ones navigate the realities, choices, and sacredness of life’s final transition. I will bring insight, greater clarity and a compassionate heart to your side as we journey together.
