If you’ve ever thought your journey might be able to help others, or sharing your story with a wider audience might keep others from feeling isolated, the Atlanta Writers Club (AWC) will be holding a workshop on writing memoir.
Georgia Author of the Year Kim Conrey and AWC Executive Director George Weinstein will be presenting this workshop, which covers the craft of memoir writing and the different avenues for publishing your memoir. We will cover everything from how to get started, sensitivity issues (name changes to protect the innocent or not so innocent?), point of view, and publishing options.
