Winter Tenderness Gathering

We will connect with the land to leave behind or burn what we no longer can carry.

We will let the song of the Portland Threshold Singers carry us.

We will lay to restore our bodies.

We will moan and move and sip cider.

We will talk by the woodstove.

We will find comfort together as we lay down and let go of our guilt and shame and grief.

There will be many options for tenderness in the Wapato Farm barn and beyond. 

We ask that you bring the following:

• Two organic objects no larger than your thumb--one to bury and one to burn
• Food you find comforting to share
• A mug or thermos for mulled cider
• A sleeping bag or blankets
• Proof of vaccination or negative covid test within 24 hours

Optional if you have them:

• Yoga mat, props and pillows
