Threshold Stories: A Grief & Legacy Documentary Filmmaking Retreat

In this 2 day (4/11 & 4/12, 9am-4pm) retreat, we will care for and play with your unique constellation of experiences through storytelling and filmmaking.

Perhaps you are nearing your death and feel a pull to leave something intentional for the people you love. Or maybe you are grieving a loss and looking for expressive ways to be with what has changed - with how you are changing. This retreat is an opportunity to record your story in your own voice using photographs and meaningful objects from your life.

Participants are welcome to join as individuals or in pairs. You’ll be invited to bring archival materials - photographs, home videos, letters, loved objects or other items that carry significance - to support the shaping of a narrative that reflects what’s most meaningful for you to share.
