The Belonging of Grief is a four-part virtual ritual series that approaches grief not as something to fix or overcome, but as something that belongs within the fullness of being human—and as a threshold into deeper relationship with ourselves, one another, and the living world.
Across these four gatherings, we will move through Descent → Belonging → Return → Integration. In October, titled "Meeting What We Carry", we will create space to acknowledge, feel, and witness what is present. In November, titled "What Came Before Us", we will explore grief through ancestry, family, relationship, place, and belonging—what we have inherited, what may need to be released, and what is worth carrying forward. In December, titled "What Grief Asks Us to Carry Forward", we will explore how loss has changed us and what grief may be asking us to remember, protect, release, or embody.
