Spiritual Loss Support Group

Spiritual communities can foster creativity, joy, connection, meaning, and passion. But what happens when those spiritual communities become unsafe? Maybe you were forced to leave a religious group, as they were unwilling to grant you the dignity of growth and change. Maybe you inherited a spirituality that attempted to strip you of personhood. Maybe you find yourself spiritually fulfilled, but alienated or lonely in traditional religious spaces. Regardless of what brought you here, this group seeks to provide support and companionship during difficult seasons of change.

Join us as we share, rage, laugh, and mourn our experiences in and around religion. The group will start with a welcome, including group agreements and a facilitator-led grounding practice. The facilitator will then offer a prompt and provide time for group attendees to journal, create, or sit quietly and consider.
