Relational Grief Ritual

The time we are in calls for alternative relational structures and with that call comes grief of having to build things that don’t exist in heteronormative society. We have seen how the ideal of the nuclear family upholds capitalism and fascism. There can be a lot of grief that comes from seeking other ways of being in relationship with people that doesn’t fit societal norms. From struggling to find friends to struggling to find romantic partners, navigating relational grief doesn’t have to happen alone.

Let us come together to compost the old ways of being, the ways that don’t fit us and never have. From the ashes, we clear the space for new ways to birth forth. Let the land hold your grief and transform it as only this ancient Earth knows how.
