What
Reiki is a traditional Japanese form of healing similar to acupressure that operates on the principle that we all have energy (ki or chi) flowing through us and that energy can be become blocked or stagnant. A Reiki healer is taught to help clear stagnant energy. Stagnant energy is simply any stress, emotion, or repression that we are having trouble releasing. Reiki is a gentle, relaxing technique that is now being used in hospitals like Cancer Centers of America, Sloan Kettering, and other facilities across the country as a complimentary form of treatment to aid in recovery alongside traditional western medical treatments. Kim Conrey is a certified Reiki Master healer in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition and will be offering 50-minute long one-on-one sessions from 1 to 6 p.m. For more info: soulsourceholistic.com
