What if:

We define magic as deep communication with something beyond human definition - something we can sense but can't capture with language or any kind of map?

What if this kind of communication used to be our daily practice? What if for thousands of years everything in our people's people's lives taught them to hone their connection with mystery - listening to wind, sensing shifts in bird flight, hearing joy or distress in the endless interwoven systems they were made from; what if these practices allowed them access to constant magic and this connection was sustenance? Like sunlight on skin or water to drink.

What if we are trying to survive without something we vitally need? 

This poetry gathering will be a chance to play with reconnecting to mystery. Through structured prompts we will ask questions of and listen for responses from the vast, interconnected universe of which we're a part.
