Tina is offering 2, 60 minute sessions at 2:00 and 3:30 on Wednesday, August 23rd.
I grew up hearing Quakers talk of "that of God" in everyone. I always pictured that piece of God as a little spark of divinity inside us - like a golden ring in a cherry pie. Something glowing, of a different nature, hidden and small.
But my dreams have taught me to see this differently. "That of God" in us has more motion, more urgency, than a ring. It is not finished. It is something like the tree inside the acorn - 'the force that through the green fuse drives the flower,' in Dylan Thomas' words.
It is potent, like an underground aquifer, or a snowstorm, or Mozaet's Requiem, or the look in a red-tailed hawk's eye. It's both fiercely impersonal and fiercely…
