Who
What
“Many of us in Western cultures live in death-phobic societies, where open conversations about death are rare. Death and dying are treated as something to be hidden, and fear outweighs curiosity.” (Liz Zhou)
Together we will reflect on our own mortality with Nature as our guide. We will explore the question: how does awareness of our mortality inform the way we live?
Details of the Day:
Please bring a mug if you would like; tea will be provided.
We will start with nature-based grounding/meditation.
Journal prompts and/or quotes to reflect on our life “from the perspective of death” (Alua Arthur) will be offered (feel fee to bring journals, we'll also have paper and pens/pencils/markers, etc.)
