Join us for this invitation to visit the Atlanta Grief House, whether for the first time or not. For this early May open house we will have an invitation to write letters to our mothers and/or our maternal figures as well. You will also be invited to add to our altar with flowers and notes.

Join us at the Atlanta Grief House the Thursday before Mother’s Day for a special event!
We know Mother’s Day can be a complicated holiday for folks, so we are hosting space for people to write letters to their mothers and/or mother-like figures. No matter what kind of relationship you have with your mother come have a space to sit, write or chat about it.
This letter writing is an activity to help create space for being with your feelings about the mothers in your life - including our own motherhood journeys. Anyone attending is welcome to share what they write, share it with their mothers or keep it to themselves. This is a space to have some release before the busy Mother’s Day holiday weekend.
There will be materials to add to our living altar space (flowers, beans, pinecones) and you will be welcome to add to that should…
