What
A 7-part series for building community with grievers alongside building community with plants and flowers. Come let the plants hold you and learn simple herbal preparations and supports for honoring your grief.
We will circle together from 10-1 p.m. one day a month from December to June, during the darker seasons of the year, and as Spring emerges and we begin to welcome Summer. Each month will focus on a new way of engaging with the plants through gentle hands on activity, grief story/share/check-ins, and ceremony. We will discuss local plants to support your unique grief, flower essences, and soothing herbal preparations. We'll start this 6 month cycle welcoming the life of deep winter while inviting the reverberations of flowers and green growth from last year's Summer to remind us of their presence, then feel the shift as we slowly move through Winter into the growth of a new spring.
