What
Grief craft is a monthly, relaxing hangout for people experiencing grief who are looking for a quiet space to work on creative projects alongside others. Participants are welcome to bring portable projects they are already working on — knitting, writing, drawing, etc. — or are welcome to use the craft materials that will be available at the house.
The evening will begin with brief introductions, and then you are welcome to talk about the craft you will be working on (this is totally optional!). This will be followed by quiet work time. We’ll finish the evening by checking back in, and if you’d like, you may share anything you made or noticed.
The goal of this ongoing gathering is to provide a soft landing place for those who may be experiencing grief but are not ready to talk about it, or simply do not have the energy or capacity to…
