Family Circle - For Widowed Parents And Their Children

This seasonal Sunday afternoon gathering is designed for widowed parents and their children to be together in a gentle and supportive space.

The loss of a co-parent can move through a family in ways that feel overwhelming and bewildering. Navigating all the different currents of grief while trying to keep everyone afloat can feel like an impossible undertaking. When we create and remember alongside people who understand this complex pain, we can feel a little more held.

Each gathering will offer a simple project for all ages. This summer, we’ll be gathering for a simple art activity called Message Rocks.

We’ll have smooth stones and a variety of markers and paint available for you to create something meaningful to you. Some people choose to write a name, a word, or a small message. Others might paint colors or designs that just feel right in the moment. There’s no right or…
