Who
What
This seasonal Sunday afternoon gathering is designed for widowed parents and their children to be together in a gentle and supportive space.
The loss of a co-parent can move through a family in ways that feel overwhelming and bewildering. Navigating all the different currents of grief while trying to keep everyone afloat can feel like an impossible undertaking. When we create and remember alongside people who understand this complex pain, we can feel a little more held.
Each gathering will offer a simple project for all ages. Our spring session will focus on making small pieces out of clay. You might make a small offering bowl, something that reminds you our your loved one or an abstract shape that holds parts of your grief and love that are hard to express in words. These pieces can be kept as personal keepsakes for remembrance rituals or given to someone you love.
