Shonali Banerjee of Wise Ma Wellness, yoga therapist & death doula, and Sascha Demerjian, co-founder of The Grief House, hold space in this four week series for the complexities of grief. In a small group setting, we provide you with a supportive space to acknowledge the especially challenging layers of grief you may be grappling with beyond the Five Gates of Grief as described in Francis Weller's The Wild Edge of Sorrow. We will explore with conscious compassion and care, the harms we've done to ourselves and others. This topic has been community sourced by grief-workers, including by Francis Weller himself.
The group is held with great care by Shonali who guides settling practices, breathing and body movement to anchor our nervous systems, to ground the group and ensure safe exploration.
